October 16th was Addison's birthday and Jeff took the day off. Addison and I had both been a little under the weather that week and it was wonderful to get out of the house. This was the first day of the Zoo Boo and my mom had been kind enough to get us a family membership as Addison's birthday gift. It was a cool, pretty day and Addison was sporting her cat costume in honor of the special day at the Zoo. One of the highlights was the smashing pumpkin elephant show. A few of the elephants did step on the pumpkins and smash them but the one we were watching just ate the thing whole! It was pretty amazing. We had a wonderful day and I can't believe my baby is one.
